Sky13: USS Iwo Jima prepares to deployAugust 26th, 2008
This is video from Sky13 around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday of USS Iwo Jima preparing for deployment. The crew is manning the rails and tugs are moving into position to help it out of Naval Station Norfolk. Other ships leave today and Thursday as part of the Iwo Jim Expeditionary Strike Group.

This is a great blog, in fact it influenced me to start my own. My son is on the IWO Jima as well.
Can you tell me where and how you got your clock in order to count the days they are gone?
